I attended several colleges before graduating from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology Science Education.
I earned my Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX
I attended an online superitendent certification program from The University of Texas, Permian Basin in Odessa.

My family and I moved to Munday in 2016 when I was honored with the offer to become superintendent.
I was formerly the superintendent at Paducah ISD.
Prior to that I have served in Onalaska TX, Jayton-Girard TX, New Home TX, Strawn TX, Follett TX, Agra OK, Mid-Del OK, Texline TX, Felt OK
I have taught JH science, Biology, Physical Science, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, PE, Algebra ½, and coached basketball, football, track, cross country, baseball, volleyball, and directed One Act Play.
My career has been about serving the students of the school and the communities where they are located. I have been a class sponsor, worked concession stands, sat in dunking booths, refereed basketball and softball tournaments, worked all night lock-ins, bought pizzas, jerky, popcorn, candy bars, calendars, wrapping paper, raffle tickets, etc. I can often be found behind the wheel of a school bus driving a field trip, taking seniors to a career day, or on senior trip.
My dad inspired me to become a teacher. He modeled the patience and persistence needed to serve my community in a way that impacts many lives.
My wife Renae and I married in 1993, we have 3 children, one a graduate of Paducah HS, one a graduate of Munday the other is a student here at Munday HS. My family has 4 dogs and a cat.
My hobbies include fishing, hunting, scenic photography, and drawing. I enjoy spending time with my family. I always try to have a garden and enjoy eating the vegetables from it.
