Christie Shahan
I graduated from Munday High School in 1990. I graduated from Midwestern State University in 1994.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies which allows me to teach grades 1-8.
My first job at Munday Elementary School was as an aide in January of 1995. I began my teaching career in the fall of 1995, and I have been here for 26 years as a remedial reading teacher, a social studies teacher, a regular ed. reading teacher, a science teacher, and most currently as a 5th grade Social Studies and Math teacher.
I am very fortunate to have always taught at the same school since my teaching career began.
I am married to my high school sweetheart and the love of my life, Lonnie Shahan. We have been married for 26 years, but have been together for 32 years. We have one child, Kimberly. She graduated from Munday High School in 2016, and she is currently working at Hendricks Hospital in Abilene as a Surgical Technologist. We also have two lovable dogs, Hally and Ellie. Hally is an American bird dog. Ellie is a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix and belongs to Kimberly.
I really like to fish. What I like even more is to eat what I catch! I like to play computer games, so if I am not grading papers, working on lesson plans, or cleaning house, I am playing a game.
